Hi everyone, I'm Capt Autism. I've interacted with many of you either on Element, Lemmy or maybe Reddit. Online censorship has gotten out of control, specifically on Reddit, so I moved to Lemmy. Lemmy has been and is still awesome! I post there daily. However, I still felt the need for a dedicated place for those of us who usually have a rough time integrating into the general public (even online). So, The Digital Aspie website was born. Then, I realized that a place for neurodivergent articles is great, but a forum would be even better. So, now there is both. I'm still tweaking both.

Please feel free to use this forum (registration is required to combat spam and trolls).

You may be wondering at how come someone would choose to implement an old school forum in 2025. Honestly, it is a relic of younger internet, and I understand that. However, all social media is a child or grandchild of this platform. Look at Reddit. It's exactly this, but with a modern UI. My goal is to bring back the comfort and fun of the old internet without the corporate enshitification that it has become.
